像《客人》这种奇幻惊悚片其实非常考功夫，除了主演们的功力，当然故事本身也必须很完美无漏动，需要多个精彩看点才能支撑得起来，很明显金光泰导演在笔功上就稍微差了一点。观众最大争议的便是剧情本身，很多评论中都指责影片除了努力笼罩阴暗的小村庄气氛，一点实际内容都没有，最多做到了“惊悚”但却一点都不惊喜。
